Sand Shapes as Psyche Reflects – Commemorating the 120th Anniversary of Dora Kalff’s Birth

December 21, 2024, marked the 120th anniversary of the birth of Dora Maria Kalff, the founder of Sandplay Therapy. To honor Kalff’s remarkable contributions to the field, the China Society for Sandplay Therapy (CSST), organized a series of roundtable special reports themed “Sand Shapes as Psyche Reflects – Commemorating the 120th Anniversary of Dora Kalff’s Birth.” The event was masterfully organized and chaired by Professor Shen Heyong, the inaugural president of the CSST. The series was enriched by the active participation of Martin Kalff, son of Dora Kalff and a founding member of ISST, along with numerous senior ISST Sandplay Therapists who served as guest speakers. Many Analysts from CSST also contributed to the discussions.
